These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of softwarestories.co.uk (the "Site") and any services provided by SOFTWARESTORIES Ltd.. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About us
SOFTWARESTORIES Ltd. is a UK-registered company providing software, design and AI development services. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean SOFTWARESTORIES Ltd..
2. Use of the site
You may browse the Site for lawful, personal or business purposes. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the Site's operation, scrape it at scale without permission, or use it to transmit malicious code.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, code, logos, and the underlying source code — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.
Client work delivered under a signed statement of work belongs to the client per the terms of that agreement, and is not subject to these Site Terms.
4. Services
Engagements are governed by a separate written agreement (a Master Services Agreement and/or Statement of Work). Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer to perform services or to be bound by any specific terms.
5. Acceptable use of AI features
Where the Site or our services include AI features, you agree not to use them to generate unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content. Outputs from AI systems may contain inaccuracies — you remain responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and link inclusion does not imply endorsement.
7. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
